Praslin's top-drawer establishment occupies the whole northwest tip of the island. If
you're not bowled over by features such as the voluminous foyer and the marvellous spa,
you certainly will be by the three-tiered infinity pool, the three gorgeous beaches and the
expansive grounds in which the villas blend in among the rocks and water features. Facil-
ities include three restaurants, a kids club and a magnificent 18-hole
golf course
(open to
nonguests). One blemish: the property has engulfed the idyllic Anse Georgette, which is
now a de facto part of the hotel, though it's a public beach by law. Overall, Constance
Lémuria caters to a wide variety of interests and budget levels - it's a big resort but it's
not crowded and has retained its friendly feel.
SHUTTLES TO ANSE LAZIO
Given that the beach at Grand Anse is only so-so, most accommodation options in the area offer their guests a
free shuttle to Anse Lazio several times per week.
