Cases à Gardenias is the most stylish guesthouse on the island. It's the pride and joy of the
lovely owners, a Belgian-Mauritian couple, who have built up their property from scratch.
The beautiful plantation-inspired bedrooms have lovely stonewashed furniture (made by
hand), and in the morning guests can wander the orchards in search of fresh fruit or help
the beekeeper tease out the sticky honey from the colourful apiary. The owner also has
plans to run cooking classes, including a trip with her to the market. It's not signposted -
take the turn-off towards Chez Janette off the main road between Mont Lubin and Grande
Montagne and it's the peach-coloured complex around 1km from the turn-off.

known for its end-of-the-world seclusion, this charming Tudor-style lodge was the only
