Click the
Show Tolerance Status
icon on the DimXpertManager. Notice
that the hole is highlighted in yellow, which means that is it under constrained.
Adding Location Dimensions
You add location dimensions to a feature with reference to a datum.
1.
On the CommandManager, click
DimXpert > Location Dimension
.
2.
Rotate the model and select its left vertical face.
3.
Select the hole and position the dimension, as shown.
On the
DimXpert
PropertyManager, the
Tolerance Feature
and
Origin Feature
are dis-
played in the
Reference Features
section. You can swap these features by clicking the
Swap Features
icon.
You can also change the tolerance value in the
Tolerance/Precision
section.
