crookedly on stilts above the sand, this multi-level rainbow-painted tiki shack is like
something from a Hollywood shipwreck movie. Sunday pig roasts at Nipper's are le-
gendary, drawing party-hearty boaters from across the Abacos. The rest of the week, a
chatty all- ages crowd downs rum drinks, chows on burgers or hops in the pool. For those
itching to slip the crowds, there's 5½ miles of stunning white sand just out the back. On
Thursday through Sunday, the air-conditioned Overso restaurant serves up pasta dishes and
Bahamian-style seafood dinners. To get here, take a right off the ferry dock, walk a bit,
then follow the signs, or just hop in the van that meets most ferries. The no-see-ums can be
pesky so bring spray.

A post office with varied opening hours sits on the harborside. A part-time police office
shares the same tiny cement building. A public phone box also sits on the waterfront.
GETTING THERE & AROUND
Albury's Ferry Service

way/round-trip $15/25) operates scheduled daily ferries from Marsh Harbour at 6:45am,
10:30am 1:30pm, 3:30pm and 5:45pm. The ferries depart Great Guana Cay at 8am,
11:30am, 2:30pm, 4:45pm and 6:30pm. Charters are available and the ferries will drop off
or pick up at locations upon request.
