1.
From the
Data Items
tab in the
Insertable Objects
pane, Shift-click all the items in the
Training_by_Manager
query.
2.
Drag the selected items into the list in the work area.
3.
In the work area, Ctrl-click the
List Column Headers
for
Organization name
,
Current manager
, and
Employee name
to select them.
4.
From the toolbar, click the
Group/Ungroup
button.
5.
In the work area, click the
List Column Header
for
Organization name
.
6.
From the toolbar, click the
Section
button.
7.
In the work area, click the
List Column Header
for
Current Manager
.
8.
From the toolbar, click the
Headers & Footers
button and select
Create Header
.
9.
Now that the manager name has been added to the header, click the
Delete
button on the
toolbar to remove the column.
The list width has already been set as a result of using the template, and the section
formatting is complete also.
10.
From the
Run
menu, select
Run Report - HTML
to test your report. The report output
should have numbers similar to those shown in Figure 3.21.
11.
Close
IBM Cognos Viewer
to return to your report design.
