The proposed model contains four basic components that represent four
classes of the traditional design activities: representation; generation; evaluation
and performance (Fig. 14.1 ).
- Integrated compound model of design
The proposed framework demonstrates a compound model of design includes:
Formation model, Evaluation model, Performance-based model and Generative
model (Fig. 14.2 ).
Furthermore, our proposed compound model of design has opened up a way to
link informed processes of analysis, and generative and evaluation processes
(Oxman 2006 ) by various computational methods of analysis, evaluation,
