Frenchified bistro on a farm near Mawgan Porth is the north coast's best-kept secret. It's
run by talented young chef Jon Harvey, who previously worked at Claridge's and Fifteen.
His food is sophisticated and smart, but served without pomp or pretension. It's only open
for dinner three nights a week (two in winter).
Beach Hut

If you can't get a table at Fifteen,
head downstairs to this bistro by the sand. It's similarly beachy in feel, and the menu's
simple surf 'n' turf: sticky pork ribs, 'extreme' burgers and a different fish every day.
Wicker chairs and glass windows give it a shipshape feel.

one wants to eat. Underprivileged youngsters learn their trade in the kitchen preparing
