Getting There & Around
BUS
The bus station MAP GOOGLE MAP ( 033-456 000; Popa Jola Zeca bb) has frequent services to
Herceg Novi (€6, 1¾ hours), Kotor (€3.50, 40 minutes), Bar (€4.50) and Podgorica (€6),
and around six buses a day to Kolašin (€10). International destinations include Belgrade
(from €26, 15 daily) and Sarajevo (€22, four daily).
You can flag down the Olimpia Express (€1.50) from the bus stops on Jadranski Put to
head to Bečići (five minutes) or Sveti Stefan (20 minutes). They depart every 30 minutes
in summer and hourly in winter.
CAR
There are plenty of well-marked parking areas but expect to pay about €5 per day or
around €1 per hour. Tow trucks earn steady business from the Mediteranska shopping
strip.

TAXI
Taxis are in ready supply in Budva, but many of those that hang around the nightspots in
the early hours are prone to overcharging. You're better off calling a reputable company.
Otherwise check that the cab has a meter and check what rate they charge; €4 per kilo-
metre is not the going rate.
Taxi Slava (
19715; www.taxibudva.com ; flagfall €1, then 80c per km)
Terrae-Taxi ( 19717; www.budvataxi.com ) Advertises set fares to the following airports: Tivat
(€15), Podgorica (€40) and Čilipi, Dubrovnik (€90).
