Getting There & Away
AIR
Kumasi airport is on the northeastern outskirts of town, about 2km from the centre. Fly 540
Africa ( www.fly540africa.com ) and Antrak Air ( www.antrakair.com ) both offer regular flights to Accra
(one way starts around US$25). A taxi from the centre to the airport costs about C10. Al-
low plenty of time because of the traffic.

Cape Coast (C9, five hours, twice daily; operated by STC)
Takoradi (C17, six hours, twice daily; operated by STC)
