Air
Bodrum International Airport (BJV), 36km from Bodrum town, is served by almost 50
airlines, mostly charters and budget airlines working in summer. AtlasJet ( www.atlasjet.com )
offers direct İstanbul flights; Pegasus Airlines ( www.lypgs.com ) often has good deals.
Take Turkish Airlines' Havaş bus ( " 19) from Bodrum otogar two hours before departure
(if flying with them). It also meets flights and drops passengers in central Bodrum. Taxis
cost " 90 from the city centre and " 100 from the airport, although other airlines may start
their own shuttle buses.
Boat
Contact the Bodrum Ferryboat Association (

8am-8pm) for information on departures (its website departure

info isn't always reliable).
Datça Ferries (single/return/car " 25/40/70, two hours) leave Bodrum at 9am daily from June to mid-September; at
9.30am on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday in April, May, early June and October. Same-day returns aren't
possible.
Kos (Greece) Ferries (one hour; one way or same-day return €32, open return €60) leave Bodrum daily year-round
(weather permitting) at 9.30am, returning at 4.30pm. A cheaper Kos ferry (one way €12, return €20) is operated by Bod-
rum Express Lines (
316 1087; www.bodrumexpresslines.com ; Kale Caddesi 18;
8am-6pm) . Usually,
a Monday to Saturday hydrofoil departs at 9.30am, returning at 5pm.
Rhodes (Greece) Hydrofoils (one way and same-day return €60, open-day return €120, 2¼ hours) leave Bodrum from
June to September at 8.30am on Monday and Saturday, returning at 5pm.
Bus
Daily and nightly services include Ankara ( " 55, 11 hours), Antalya ( " 42, 7½ hours), Den-
izli ( " 25, 4½ hours), Fethiye ( " 30, five hours), İstanbul ( " 68, 12 hours), İzmir ( " 25, 3½
hours), Kuşadası ( " 20, 2½ hours) and Marmaris ( " 15, three hours).
