No Smoke, No Bull
Other ways the air is getting a little cleaner: Spain's strict antismoking ban went into effect
in 2011. Bars, restaurants and nightclubs are now smoke-free, as is Camp Nou. Speaking of
bans, in 2012 Catalonia officially outlawed bullfighting, becoming the first region in main-
land Spain to prohibit the practice.
