15. Shift-click the horizon line, drag upward to just above the distant hills, and release
( Figure 8.18 ) . Lower the opacity of the haze layer to 20%.

16. We'll now add an acacia tree to the landscape. Go to File > Open, navigate to the
tree.jpg file, and click OK to open it. Go to Select > Color Range. Making sure that
the Selection option is active, choose the middle sampler (it has the + symbol), and
then click on and around the tree within the preview pane. Adjust the Fuzziness
slider to add or take away from the selection ( Figure 8.19 ) . (Don't worry about the
ground also being selected; we'll work on that next. The priority here is to isolate
the tree from the sky.)
