Nondestructive Retouching in Photoshop
A nondestructive workflow allows you to go back and make changes to a picture without
redoing lots of steps.
1. With no more retouching to be done in Camera Raw, we need to open the image
file in Photoshop as a Smart Object so that we can continue to work non-destruct-
ively. To do this, hold down the Shift key while clicking the Open Image button.
In Photoshop, we'll whiten up the teeth.
2. With the Lasso tool, make a very rough outline around the mouth ( Figure 6.12 ) .
