In-Depth Information
Remember earlier when I mentioned that there were actually some really cool built-
in Flash-based templates, but you didn't access them from the Template Browser?
These three templates are found in the Layout Style panel (at the top of the right
side Panels area), and they were created by a company called Airtight Interactive
( www.simpleviewer.net) . These guys have developed a number of ver y cool, f free,
Flash-based templates, and back in Lightroom 1.3, Adobe included these right in
Lightroom for us, and I just love 'em! Here's how to put them to work:
Using Cooler
Flash Templates
Step One:
To get to these other Flash-ba sed templates ,
go up to the Layout Style panel at the top
of the right side Panels area (shown here)
and first click on Airtight AutoViewer. This
creates a slide show gallery, with the cur-
rent image highlighted, and the previous and
next image partially visible, but dimmed
(as shown here, in the Preview in Browser
view). In the Color Palette panel you can
choose the background and border colors.
In the Appearance panel, you can control the
width of the border around each photo,
and the Padding slider lets you choose how
much space is between each photo. You
can use the navigation arrows that appear
on the left and right of your page to move
backward and forward through your photos,
and to play the slide show, just click the Play
button that appears at the bottom of the
page when you move your mouse anywhere
on the page.
Step Two:
Now click on Airtight PostcardViewer in
the Layout Style panel, and your images ap-
pear as small postcards on the page. In the
Postcards section of the Appearance panel,
you can choose how many columns you
want, how thick the borders are, and how
much space there is between the photos.
