It has a wide choice of vegetarian dishes, especially at the buffet lunch. There is meat too, and in the evenings, an à
la carte menu with Asian and Arabic vegetarian options from Dutch Cordon Bleu trained chef Gabriel Fleijsman.

This is one of the best Spanish restaurants and tapas bars in Brazil. The food, prepared by Spanish Moroccan Isaac
Corcias who learnt his trade in Barcelona, is strong on seafood and - in homage to the Brazilian central west -
steaks. The wine list has some respectable Spanish bottles.

Porcão is Brazil's most upmarket churrascaria (steakhouse) chain. All of their restaurants serve enormous quantities
of the finest Brazilian meats hot off the barbecue spit. These come with a buffet of salads, vegetables, and a large
selection of fresh juices and beers.

Piantella is almost as old as the city, and since its early days has been a favorite of senior politicians. The menu is
varied, with traditional Brazilian dishes like feijoada (a rich stew of beans and pork), Italian options such as prawn

The most popular restaurant in Cidade de Goiás sits in a small garden next to the river just above the Igreja do
Rosário. The motherly owner serves a huge lunchtime buffet spread and à la carte dishes at night. The cooking
is typical of Goiás, with plenty of stewed vegetables, meats, and sweet desserts.
