In-Depth Information
The yard-long bean is a pole bean; it needs a support of some sort to climb on. It
grows best in very warm weather. Even under ideal conditions, it sometimes won't per-
form and has a reputation for being an unreliable cropper. When it does bear, it bears
heavily. I've had very good luck with it. Try it in your garden; if it works for you, you'll
have an unusual addition to your table.
