3. Delete the UVs by choosing the Delete UVs command from the Edit UVs drop-down menu (in the
middle of the tools panel on the left of the screen).
4. To make a new map for this section, use the UV Projection tool. Set the Projection Type to Cylindric-
al, the Axis to Y, and then click in the viewport.
5. Click the Pack UVs option and then click OK in the dialog box that comes up (default values are
fine here).
With this, your UV is almost complete. The only issues left are in areas where there are polygons on
the model that are flat on the y-axis. These polygons will result in stretched image maps in that area.
To get the smooth flow of textures, the edges need to be moved in the UV map.

6. Double-click on an edge in the perspective view to select a loop.
7. Shift+click in the UV view to activate the view.
