A noteworthy fact is that the additive effects of genes of both parental forms (SCA
of MS lines + SCA O types) on the extended area of supply were lower than on the
common one and made the total of 40 versus 70 percent. While the share of nonad-
ditive actions of gene was higher (60 vs. 30%). It shows that effects of component
interactions became more signifi cant on the extended area of supply (Figures 19.1 and
19.2).
Signifi cant infl uence of parental forms and their interactions in the environment
of NBCA revealed the effects of the combining ability—general (GCA) and specifi c
(SCA) (Table 19.2).
