(“Berlin from behind”; €12) is the city's
most useful gay guide.
Siegessäule

monthly gay magazine, has listings of events and an
encyclopedic directory of gay and lesbian contacts and
groups; it's available free from information centres and
most gay bars. They also produce an online city guide in
both German and English:

lesbians

CAFÉS
You'll find the majority of gay and lesbian
hangouts
in Schöneberg, Kreuzberg and Prenzlauer Berg. In addition to the
cafés there are several very active and convivial mixed-use venues, popular within the lesbian scene. Gay women might
also want to check out any possible happenings at the Begine women's centre (see above).
