It can still be cold and wet in spring, so come prepared. Nature determines the exact timing of this event, but early

Hangang Yeouido Spring Flower Festival
One of the best places to experience the blossoming trees and flowers is Yeouido. Other
good spots include Namsan and Ewha Womans University, and Jeongdok Public Library in
Royal Wedding Ceremony of King Gojong and Empress Myeongseong
This re-enactment of the royal wedding ceremony of King Gojong, the last king of the Jos-
eon dynasty, and Empress Myeongseong (Queen Min), is held on the third Saturday in
April at Unhyeon-gung, where the original ceremony took place on 21 March 1866. See
