Dixie's Bar & Restaurant BURGERS $

great cheap-eats diner across from the ferry dock. Come for eggs and toast for breakfast,
a fish burger for lunch, fried chicken and beer for dinner, and ice cream and milkshakes
anytime.
Top of the Baths FUSION $$

nerTue-Sun; ) On a hillside above the Baths, this restaurant offers indoor and outdoor
dining to a clientele who often come from visiting yachts. The lunch menu includes wraps,
veggie burgers and conch fritters. Dinner dishes are Caribbean fusions such as seafood
risotto, sweet potato snapper and Thai shrimp. A kids menu is available. Bonus: there's a
swimming pool to dip into.
Island Pot WEST INDIAN $$
( 284-495-6554; mains $8-15; lunch & dinner Wed-Sat) Island Pot specializes in
barbecue. You can eat in or take away (a popular option for locals). It's near the round-
about, across from the gas station.
Buck's Food Market DELI $
( 284-495-5423; www.bucksmarketplace.com ; 7am-7pm) The island's main gro-
cery store has a deli counter for sandwiches and snacks that many locals pair with a bottle
of beer; located in the Yacht Harbour mall.
Entertainment
Most restaurants have live music at least one night a week. Ask around as to which place
is the hot spot during your visit or check the sporadic listings in the Limin' Times
( www.limin-times.com ) .
Bath & Turtle LIVE MUSIC
(YachtHarbourmall) Also known as the Rendezvous Bar, this courtyard restaurant in the
mall pushes back the tables and becomes a hot nighttime venue for expats working on the
island and travelers. The crowd ranges from the college set to older yacht captains ready to
kick up their heels. Local bands play Wednesday night and cover classic reggae and dance
tunes.
