block and a half up the road from the ferry dock, Woody's cheap beer is legendary. While
lots of folks show up at the little place just to whoop it up with fellow tanned bodies, you
can actually get some reasonable pub food, such as grilled fish or corn-crusted scallops.

Each night brings a different-
themed menu to this jovial courtyard eatery. Monday is for Greek dishes, Tuesday and
Thursday are Mexican food, Wednesday is bistro night, and Friday is for chowing down on
prime rib. Fruit-filled pancakes, omelets and French toast fill breakfast plates.

Fork into authentic
northern Italian food lovingly cooked by a chef-transplant from the motherland. The staff
make all the pasta, gnocchi and bread from scratch, and it goes down nicely with the hearty
wines. Corks dot the ceiling, and the black-and-white decor gives the trattoria a sleek-cas-
ual ambiance.

Little Sun Dog serves an eclectic menu that ranges from fish tacos
to spinach quesadillas to pulled-pork sandwiches. It's an odd set up, with tables sprinkled
in the courtyard of the Mongoose Junction mall, but the myriad ex-pats chomping down
don't seem to mind. Wednesday night is a local musician open- jam session.

Mojo is a good stop for breakfast or lunch. The tiny kitchen cranks out American fare such
as egg sandwiches, burgers and turkey clubs. Eat at the handful of outdoor tables, or order
as takeaway and walk a few steps to the beach for a picnic. Cash only.
