ASSEMBLERS, DEVELOPMENT RESOURCES, AND SUPPLIERS
This appendix provides various sources for 8051 assemblers and trainers. In addition, it lists some suppliers for chips and other hardware needs. While these are all established products from well-known companies, neither the authors nor the publisher assumes responsibility for any problem that may arise with any of them. You are neither encouraged nor discouraged from purchasing any of the products mentioned; you must make your own judgment in evaluating the products. This list is simply provided as a service to the reader. It also must be noted that the list of products is by no means complete or exhaustive.
8051 assemblers
The 8051 assembler is provided by many companies. Some of them provide shareware versions of their products, which you can download from their Web sites. However, the size of code for these shareware versions is limited to IK (or 2K). Figure G-l lists some suppliers of assemblers.

There are many companies that produce and market 8051 trainers. Figure G-2 provides a list of some of them.
