Inundation maps were prepared using the Spatial Analyst module of
ARCGIS software for five run up values i.e., from 1 to 5 m, with an interval of
1 m. The digital elevation model (DEM) of the study area with reference baseline
of current mean sea level was utilized for this purpose (Fig. 2). This DEM was
prepared using ASTER Global DEM data which is available with a 30 m
