Figure 18-6. ORA-600 and ORA-7445 error lookup tool
If no errors have been reported, the DBA needs to open a service request with Oracle support. This is where the
ADR gives a helping hand.
The ORA-600 and ORA-7445 error lookup is accessible via Oracle metalink Note 153788.1.
Step 4
All errors encountered by the various components of the database are stored in the repository as incidents. A list of
incidents can be viewed from the ADR command line utility using the SHOW INCIDENT command:
adrci> SET HOME /app/oracle/diag/rdbms/prddb/PRDDB_1
adrci> SHOW INCIDENT
ADR Home = /app/oracle/diag/rdbms/prddb/PRDDB_1:
*********************************************************************
INCIDENT_ID PROBLEM_KEY CREATE_TIME
------------- ---------------------------- --------------------------
52777 ORA 600 [kkqsMapExp:badleaf] 2010-11-19 16:58:13.938000
52849 ORA 600 [kkqsMapExp:badleaf] 2010-11-19 17:12:28.076000
88515 ORA 600 [kjbrasr:pkey] 2010-12-02 01:04:06.313000

From the preceding incident list, there are two identical incidents that occurred on 2010-11-19 and a new
incident that occurred on 2010-12-02. All the incidents listed in the preceding output are critical ORA-600 errors.
Note
incidents 52777 and 52849 are sQl-related errors and will be discussed in a later section.
