The capture process created for the SQL tuning set collection is reviewed in Figure 5-24 . If the capture duration and
frequency of the capture are realistic to the workload, submit the capture task after verifying the filter conditions.

SPA requires a single or a set of SQL statements to perform analysis. Once the SQL tuning set is created, the job
illustrated in Figure 5-24 completes. The SQL Tuning Set is used as an input in the SPA process. Figure 5-25 illustrates
a guided workflow process from OEM that helps perform analysis of SQL statements in two different execution
environments.
