Step 12
This third step in the preprocess section is to select the workload directory. Once again, similar to Step 6, a database
directory needs to be created on the test/preproduction database. This directory also points to the same-shared NFS
mount point that contains the capture files.
CREATE DIRECTORY RATDIR AS '/OBITST_RMAN/EGCRAT';
This will allow RAT to read the capture data to this location. As seen in Figure 5-10 , once the directory is created
and assigned to preprocess capture process, the capture information is located and details are displayed.
