FRG is the register of the flag used to interface with an IBM PC AT personal
computer; SMO is a quantity of 1s in the register LR 2 ; and OFL is overflow in
register RG 3 . The special feature of B-512 is the use of the long registers, some of
which contain 512 bits, for example, LR 1 ,LR 2 , and LR 3 . It was inconvenient to use
