Woods, or the southeastern extension of the
Coastal Trail
, which has breathtaking views
of the coast before joining Hwy 1 about 2 miles north of Muir Beach. Either option re-
quires a return to Mill Valley via Frank Valley/Muir Woods Rd, which climbs steadily
(800ft) to Panoramic Hwy and then becomes Sequoia Valley Rd as it drops toward Mill
Valley. A left turn on Wildomar and two right turns at Mill Creek Park lead to the center of
Mill Valley.
