BL (“persistent”), E, Er {A specimen
responsible for a bite was misidentified as
Stenorrhina freminvillei in an original case
account (Cook, 1984). The identification was
corrected in a subsequent paper (Johnson, 1988).
Johanbocke (1974) reported E and Er in upper
arm after a bite on digits. Two communicated
anecdotal cases included immediate (transient)
bleeding, discoloration, and swelling that
resolved after 2 h. These are not included in the
tally here}
