To evaluate the pH effect on the NO
2
removal, solutions with different
concentrations of H ion were prepared, which include H
+
, OH
, and some inert
hydroxyl ions. Under these circumstances, only pH can be taken as the potential
factor that affecting the NO
2
removal. Accordingly, Fig. 4.3 illustrates the NO
2
removal performance with respect to pH.
