Church of St. Martin:
The city's cathedral-like church replaced a smaller
Romanesque church that stood here earlier. It was erected in 1235 after Colmar became
an Imperial city and needed a bigger place of worship. As Colmar's ruler at the time was
Burgundian, the church has a Burgundian-style tiled roof.
