walkthrough mode
A mode of play that allows the player to walk through an
environment that he has constructed to see what it looks like from the inside; this
mode is mostly used by construction and management simulations.
wildcard enemy
In an action game, an enemy that attacks the player at unpre-
dictable times, outside the ordinary waves of enemies.
