Greek family, but the menu blends their heritage with the cuisines of Italy, China, and
Canada. Select from Greek ribs (pork ribs with a lemon sauce), the Greek chow mein (stir-
fried vegetables, fried rice, and your choice of meat), or Greek spaghetti. But the most
popular dishes are souvlaki and an enormous Greek platter for two.
upstairs at the Bison Restaurant and Terrace
Giorgio's (219 Banff Ave., 403/762-5114, lunch and dinner daily, $21-34) has a casual
old-world atmosphere. Its chefs prepare as many as 400 meals each afternoon, and the
lineup for tables through summer is ever present. Classic pasta dishes start under $25,
while fish and meat specialties top out at $34.
M Ticino (High Country Inn, 415 Banff Ave., 403/762-3848, 5:30pm-10pm daily,
$18.50-36) reflects the heritage of the park's early mountain guides, with solid timber fur-
