The walk to the Castle starts just a short distance away from Liberation Station, where all
the buses terminate.
Open daily from Wednesday 27 th March 2013.
Jersey Pass and Jersey Heritage members have free entry although there is an extra fee for
using the Castle ferry.

When the tide is in the only way to visit Elizabeth Castle is on the ferries, which operate
from West Park.
Greve de Lecq Barracks : The Barracks were built about 200 years ago to accommodate
the British troops who came, to help protect the Island, from a possible French invasion.
Napoleon ruled France and was looking to extend its territories. Today they are the only
surviving barracks on the Island and are managed by The National Trust for Jersey. Open-
