The Hotel Epsilon
The Hotel Epsilon (hotelepsilon.com) would be our home for two nights. An immacu-
lately clean, ordinary tourist hotel, staffed with perpetually friendly Gujaratis. The hotel has
50 rooms with modern bathrooms, televisions, safes, no smoking, business center, excellent
and free Wi-Fi, complimentary Airport pickup and drop-off. A restaurant has extensive buf-
fet breakfasts and serves all day. The one drawback was some sort of Disco outside our room
that had music thumping away until 1:00a. Ear plugs!
The restaurant took pity on starving (and exhausted us), and let us order before it "of-
ficially" opened. A yummy dinner of mixed seasonal vegetables in a semi-spicy sauce, and
Subz Handi Biryani. We knew Subz Handi Biryani was rice and were happily surprised to
discover that is also included cashews and vegetables. Good service, good food.
The breakfast buffet had traditional Indian food as well as eggs to order, fruit, yogurt,
regular coffee and more. We were very comfortable and happy at the Hotel Epsilon until we
checked out the The House of M.G. Hotel. Three times the price but what a place that most
definitely would have been worth a big splurge! (More about House of M.G. later...)
