A return to the main highway with the last carbon monoxide inhalations of the day,
on the way back to Rann Riders. Extremely grateful to finally jump off the uncomfortable
camel cart, we said a fond farewell to Rajah and practically threw ourselves into the
shower. Even though people could pee faster than water trickling from the shower head,
I repeated, "Don't take this for granted." It was water, and did remove most of the debris
from our bodies.
One last dinner at Rann Riders, even though neither of us was hungry. With the best
food in Gujarat, we couldn't resist the outstanding Tandori Chicken, slivers of deep-fried,
crunchy Okra, rice, pasta, and sweeter than sweet, Gulab Jamun for dessert. In a food
coma, we prepared to leave Rann Riders tomorrow, and threw ourselves into bed. A long
day, chock-filled with unending amounts of fun "experiences."
