ACCOMMODATION
There are a number of hotels in the centre, although most of the best accommodation, in particular for business visitors,
lies outside in the neighbourhoods of
Punta Negra

Adrianópolis
. A number of areas are unsafe at
night, in particular in the city centre - make sure you check with your hotel before venturing out into the streets. The area
close to the
Teatro Amazonas
, particularly along Rua 10 de Julho, is increasingly popular as a place to stay.
