Note that templates include the paper size and orientation specii ed in Page
Setup. If you're starting from a built-in template, this is one of the settings you
will frequently need to change.

In some cases, before you choose a
template, you will select an option
from the Layout Style panel at the top
right of the Print module; see Figure
6-6. h e selection of a Layout Style
determines the options available for
the print job. Lightroom 3 of ers the
following built-in Layout Styles, each
providing dif erent controls for a
particular purpose.

Use the Single Image/Contact Sheet
layout when you want to print a single
photo or multiple photos all at the same
size. h is places photos in layout cells
of the same size, in a i xed-grid layout.
You can rotate photos and/or scale
them to i t into the grid cells dif erently,
but all the grid cells remain the same
size (see Figure 6-7).
h e order of the photos placed in the
rows and columns of the grid is based
on the current sort order, which can be
set either in the Layout Toolbar or by
dragging photos to rearrange them.
