Graphics Reference
In-Depth Information
Tip:
The displayed backgrounds are actually taken from the Capti-
vate/Templates directory that is installed with the Captivate software.
You can copy any existing PowerPoint template to this directory to
display your corporate look and feel for use with Captivate movies.
9.
Define the number and type of slides you want in the base project.
Remember, of course, that you can add or change slides as much
as you need to—this just gives you a starting place. The available
slide types in the wizard are shown in Table 5-1.
Table 5-1. Scenario Simulation slide types
This type of slide:
Looks like this :
Introduction
Large text for a title centered on the slide, with a full-slide graphic in the
background. This is similar to a Title slide in PowerPoint.
Description
Large text, like the Introduction, but the graphics are more minimal.
Scenario slides
This defaults to question slides with Clear, Skip, and Submit buttons,
using the specified graphic background. Note that if you included
Scenario slides, you'll also get a Results slide that summarizes the
viewer's answers to the questions.
Conclusion
Uses the same background as the Introduction slide, but is placed at the
end of the movie.
10. Click OK to create the project. The designated slide types appear
in the Slideshow view.
Note: Captivate uses the default font and font size to create the
text in scenario simulation slides. Sometimes the font is too large (see
slide 9 in Figure 5-4) or too small. You can change the font size or
any other property as needed (see Chapter 7, “Editing a Single
Slide”).
