Take a moment to locate the different elements of the Edit
view and the slide we're viewing. The Edit view displays the
selected slide in the main portion of the view. You'll also see the
surrounding slides in a column on the left side of the screen and a
“timeline” across the top of the slide. This shows you exactly how
long each element on the slide appears on the screen. For this
example, you can see there are three components:
Mouse track showing that the mouse movement comes up
from the bottom of the screen to stop on a link.
Text box that says, “Select the Rachel Latta text box.”
Highlight box that outlines the text of the link that was
clicked.

Double-click on the element, either in the timeline or on the slide
itself, to display the properties for that element. In our example,
we want to change the text in the text box. Double-clicking on the
text box itself displays the Text Caption window.
