In-Depth Information
Viewers of the movie would not need to have any viewing soft-
ware on their systems to run a stand-alone movie.
In addition, you can e-mail or FTP Flash files, executable files, or even
the original project files directly from Captivate, and print captions as
Word files.
Publishing Projects as Flash Files
When you publish Captivate projects as Flash SWF movie files, you
can automatically create zip files (for easier distribution) or HTML
files for use with web pages. You can also specify whether the movie
should play as a full-screen movie or at the size you specify when
recording.
To publish a project as a Flash movie file, follow these steps:
1.
Click the Publish icon or select Publish from the File menu to dis-
play the Publish window.
2.
Click the Flash (SWF) icon to display the Flash options.

3.
The Project Title text box defaults to the name you entered for the
project file. You can leave this as-is or type a new name. It isn't
necessary to include the file extension—Captivate will add .swf to
the finished file name.
