Tip:
Always test your movie from the final location—with all files
and folders in place. Sometimes, if you're running in a development
environment or on a local hard drive, the movie start options (partic-
ularly the loading screen) may not display as they will on the finished
project.
To define the way your movie begins, follow these steps:
1.
From any view, open the Edit menu, and then select Preferences
to display the Preferences window.
2.
Click the Start and End option under the Project category on the
left side of the screen.
Figure 13-10. Set project start preferences.
3.
To specify a loading screen, click the Loading screen check box,
and then type the location and file name of the image you want to
use into the Loading screen text box. You can also click the
Browse button to browse to the file location. Loading screens,
icons, and/or animations must be in one of the supported formats
(JPG, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP, ICO, EMF, WMF, or SWF).
