In-Depth Information
You can change either or both of the following additional items:
Objective ID—Enter the ID for the objective, if you have one.
If you're exporting to a learning management system, use the
ID set in that system. If you're just going to be reviewing
answers without a coded system, you may want to change this
item to a text ID. For example, for our sample movie, we may
have objectives of Navigation, Message Board, and Books. You
can use the same objective ID for more than one question or
interactive element.
Interaction ID—This is the unique code that identifies this
particular question or interactive element. If you're using a
learning management system, enter the ID assigned by that
system. If you're not using a learning management system,
you can set whatever ID you want for each question. For
example, you could use straight numeric coding (questions 1,
2, 3, etc.) or you could enter coding for category of question,
type of question, or however you want to track items. You can
use text or numbers in your Interaction ID. Note that the sys-
tem will assign a sub-code to questions that have multiple sec-
tions. For example, in a Likert question with an Interaction ID
of 22934, each statement would be given an Interaction ID
such as 22934_1, 22934_2, etc.
4.
For question slides only , you can set a time limit in which the
viewer must specify the answer. The time limit is in hours, min-
utes, and seconds, and defaults to 5 minutes (00:05:00).
Remember that you need to allow enough time for the viewer to
read and understand the question, then enter the answer or
answers.
Tip:
The timer ends when the viewer clicks the Submit button, and
the movie goes on to the next thing specified by either the correct or
incorrect answer. If you're using time limits, make them longer than
you think the average viewer will need.
5.
Click OK when you are done to close the window.
