Note: Activation is required to use the Captivate software after the
30-day trial period. Registration is not required at all. However, you
can always choose to register later by selecting the Register option
from the Help menu within the Captivate software.
Telephone Activation
If the computer on which you'll be using Captivate does not have an
Internet connection, or for any reason you choose not to activate your
software online, you'll have to use the telephone method of activation.
This takes a bit longer than the online version and requires a
touch-tone phone. You'll need to be able to type confirmation numbers
into your computer while on the telephone.
Tip:
Make sure you have your Captivate serial number handy
before beginning this process. You'll need to enter it on your
touch-tone telephone.

Start up the software by double-clicking the
Captivate
icon. If
you've already activated your software, the system will go directly
to the main Captivate window, and you can skip this procedure. If
you haven't yet activated this copy of the software, the Captivate
activation screen displays.
