entation, and an information booth on level 3 of the international terminal offers tourist bro-

Airport Transportation
The Canada Line ( www.translink.ca ) is a 16-kilometer (10-mile) stretch of light rail line
linking the airport to downtown Vancouver, with 19 stations en route. The journey to or
from the airport takes around 30 minutes and costs $9. The service runs every 4-10 minutes
between 5am and a little after midnight.
A cab from the airport to downtown takes at least 25 minutes and runs around $50. Cabs
line up curbside on the arrival levels of both the international and domestic terminals 24
hours daily. All cabs that pick up from the airport must be accredited by the innovative YVR
Taxi Program. Administered by the Vancouver Airport Authority, the program gives incom-
ing visitors the peace of mind that their drivers will speak English, know their way around
the city, load all baggage, accept credit cards, and accept U.S. dollars at fair exchange.
