In-Depth Information
crosswalk—motorists must stop. When driving along the very scenic Niagara Parkway,
keep in mind that many drivers are visitors to the region and may be paying more attention
to the scenery than to other cars or traffic lights.
The main thoroughfare in southern Ontario is known as the QEW, or Queen Elizabeth
Way. The QEW joins Niagara Falls to Toronto.
A flashing green light at an intersection indicates that it is safe to make a left-hand turn
(equivalent to a green arrow light).
Parking is expensive in Niagara Falls. Prime tourist lots operated by Niagara Parks
charge close to $20 per day.
BY BUS
The WEGO ( www.wegoniagarafalls.com ) bus system is simple and easy to use. Passes
good for 24 hours are $7 for adults and $4 for children 6-12. The system uses four color-

boarding the bus. Passes are available at more than 30 falls-area hotels (look for the “We
Sell WEGO” signs in your hotel's lobby) and at the four official welcome centers operated
