INCLINE RAILWAY
The Falls Incline Railway (Portage Rd. near Main St., www.niagaraparks.com ,
10am-6:30pm daily with increased hours in summer, $2.50 one-way, free for children five
and under) is an easy way to traverse the 100-foot-tall ridge that separates the Fallsview
area of hotels from Table Rock Welcome Centre. Each tram car holds 40 passengers and is
fully enclosed for year-round comfort.
The railway is located off Portage Road, one block from Main Street. Pedestrians can
use a footbridge that connects the railway with the Embassy Suites and Marriott Hotels and
crosses over Portage Road. Round-trip fare is $5 and an all-day pass is $6. If you don't
want to use the railway, you'll have to take Murray Hill Road to travel from Table Rock
Welcome Centre to the Fallsview area.
