Could a swarm of mosquitoes suck you dry?
Dr. Robert Anderson, a mosquito researcher from the University of Winnipeg calculates
that an average 170 lb male has 5 litres of blood. It would take more than one million mos-
quitoes to suck that body dry. Since the most mosquitoes he's ever been able to trap in one
night is 250,000, the answer would have to be:
“Not at one meal!”
