Motion Blur
Unless you want your fi nal production to look to like clay model stop motion animation or one of the styl-
ized high speed camera action movies like Gladiator , you will want to add Motion Blur to your composite.
Figures 15.55 and 15.56 show the difference between an action-fi lled shot with and without motion blur.
Due to the nature of our eyes, motion blur is something that we see every day, so much so that we don't usu-
ally realize or make note of it. However, when it is not present when it should be, the effect is obvious and
reduces the believability of your animation.
